The idea emerged when we ourselves were looking for matcha of consistent, high quality at a reasonable price. The selection often felt like a choice between compromises, either a lower price with questionable taste and freshness, or good quality at unreasonable prices. That's why we started Oh! Matcha, to offer what we ourselves were missing.

We carefully select our matcha and collaborate with producers who maintain a high standard in terms of quality, sustainability, and responsible practices. For us, it's about offering a product with a quality and integrity that we can truly stand behind.

Our matcha

Oh! Matcha is ceremonial grade matcha of the highest quality, selected for its pure taste and bright green color. The tea leaves are grown in Zhejiang province in China and produced using Japanese methods. The tea plants are shaded before harvest to develop sweetness and umami, and the leaves are gently steamed and stone-ground into a fine powder. The result is a smooth, creamy matcha with natural sweetness, soft umami, and a lightly balanced bitterness, equally delicious to drink with water or in a latte with milk.
